| Report: | What a lovely valentines night as the Gents from Folkestone and Hythe first team came out to play together!
Although not all of us got going to start with both Ian and Brett very slow out of the starting block and were easily beaten by Rick and Lee.
Could that be Ian Watts last game? I hope not.
Simon started well and had a great game against Mike, the closest match of the night.
Mark Roberts took a strong game to Simon from Ashford in what was close game for both players.
Good social evening in the bar, which is really what it is all about. Tapas style food (sorry I must remember plates and cutlery next time) and a few bevies ended the evening - sorry it was a 10pm closure though as the bar does not stay open past then. Cheers |
